Choosing a User Name to access your account

The length of your account User Name should be no more than 8 characters. The user name must start with alpha characters and consist of alpha characters, numeric characters, the minus sign '-' or underline '_'. Alpha characters must be in lower case. User names are upper and lower case sensitive. (i.e.. Good4US2)

IMPORTANT REGISTRAR INFORMATION: If you will be transferring an existing domain from another hosting company, you must notify the company that has your domain name registry. Not the hosting company but rather the Registrar like (Network Solutions, Register.com, Bulk Registry, etc). If you wish us to make the change and modification, we need to know who has your name registered, your user name and password before complete transfer can be made. We do not charge for this added service. Your "Welcome" letter will have our "name server" and "IP information" if you wish to make your own changes. Your existing domain will stay active during the entire changeover process. Since 1998, Great Services of America, Inc. and it's partners have provided dedicated and shared web hosting solutions to thousands of clients and maintains a responsibility to protect each client, as well as, to provide the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to ensure that these obligations are met.

Content

All services provided by Great Services may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene or material protected by trade secret or other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Great Services from any claims resulting from the use of the service that damages the subscriber or any other party.

All pornographic content and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all of our servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content or links to adult content elsewhere. Great Services will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.

Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Great Services' servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are strictly prohibited.

SPAMMING, or the sending of unsolicited e-mail, from a Great Services server or USING AN E-MAIL ADDRESS OR DOMAIN that is maintained on a Great Services' server as reference or linked to is STRICTLY prohibited. Great Services of America will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

IRC

IRC or IRC bots may not be operated on our servers at this time.

Server Abuse

Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of Great Services is strictly prohibited.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service at our sole discretion. We shall not to be held responsible for any loses---business, monetary, or otherwise---that may occur as a result of cancellation, suspension, or refusal of service.

All Sub-Networks, Resellers, Affiliates, distributive hosting sites and dedicated servers of Great Services must adhere to the above policies.

Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account suspension and deactivation and the account holder SHALL NOT be entitled to any refunds, unused fees or any other monetary advances made prior to deactivation.
 
 Account holder herein agrees to pay for all services used, including, but not limited to, additional bandwidth or data transfer beyond the guidelines of his/her specific plan.
 
 Great Services has the right to temporarily suspend or deactivate any account or domain who has not paid it's fees for service.  Fees are paid in advance via mailed check or credit card via PayPal services or other means as Great Services may, from time to time, elect.
  
  Failure to receive a notice of amount owed to Great Services DOES NOT constitute reason for non-payment.
  
  NO SPAMMING is allowed under any circumstances FROM or TO your domain.  Having someone else send SPAM which references offers on your website or our servers IS SPAMMING.
